Hetvanshi Vankawala

Hetvanshi holds a MS in Biotechnology from Northeastern University (2025) and a BS in Biotechnology and Microbiology from SRKI (India, 2023). She completed her co-op at Beam Therapeutics, where she worked in cell pharmacology, conducting cell-based assays to study immune signaling pathways, including NF-κB and IRF activation. She also conducted research in Dr. Loring’s lab at Northeastern University, where she investigated cytokine-driven cellular responses and receptor expression using mammalian cell models and mouse tissue. Her research interests lie in immunology and cell-based therapeutics, with experience evaluating immune signaling, cellular responses, and immunogenicity. Outside the lab, she enjoys traveling, café-hopping, and exploring different cultures.
