Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Thiriot
Aude was a graduate student in the Institut Pasteur (Paris) where she characterized a novel B cell population that was identified to be conserved in the whole genus Mus, the Bw cells. As a postdoctoral fellow, Aude aims to understand microvasculature specialization, which will lead to the development of a new generation of anti-inflammatory and anti-tumoral drugs. She generated the first anti-mouse DARC (ACKR1) monoclonal antibody, which stain venular endothelial cells only. This allows to freshly isolate venular endothelial cells from multiple organs to study their transcription profile and understand what make an endothelial cell being a venular endothelial cell.
