 Thaiany obtained her PhD in Cell biology at Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil, 2024) working with identification of peptides recognized by HLA-DRB1 alleles that are associated with epitope inducing CD4 T cells self-reactivity and the potential to predict the clinical course of Chagas disease. Currently, Thaiany is studying the mechanism adjuvant of bisphosphonate and their impact on immune cells. Outside of lab, she enjoys painting, sewing and traveling.
